April 24 saw the Red Bull Soundclash brought to life in Auckland, New Zealand, in what was an absolutely outstanding display by the bands The Mint Chicks and King Kapisi. The groups had the audience literally screaming for more.

After a sudden death play-off at the sold-out Luxor Live Arnhem, Netherlands, New Cool Collective were voted winners of the Red Bull Soundclash on April 2. The lads from Nobody Beats the Drum showed their teeth, but eventually had to bite the dust.
